How to download from Instagram?

Copy the link to the Instagram post — Share → Copy link, or the page address in your browser.
Paste the link into the field at the top of the page and click “Download”.
Check the title and preview, then choose a quality, “MP3 audio” or a photo.
Wait while the file is prepared — progress is shown below the buttons.
The file will be saved to your browser’s Downloads folder.

How to download from Instagram on a phone and computer

On Android

Open the post in the Instagram app and tap Share → Copy link (the paper plane icon under the post).
Go to meridianload.ru in Chrome, Samsung Internet or any other browser.
Paste the link into the field — a card with the options appears automatically.
Tap the quality you need and confirm the download if the browser asks.

On iPhone and iPad

Copy the link to the post via Share → Copy link.
Open meridianload.ru in Safari (iOS 13 or later) and paste the link.
Choose a quality and tap “Download” in the Safari dialog.
The file appears in Files → Downloads; from there you can save it to Photos.

On a computer (Windows, Mac, Linux)

Copy the Instagram page address from the address bar and paste it into the field on this page. Even faster — type meridianload.ru/ before the address right in the address bar and press Enter: the site opens and starts processing the link immediately.

How to copy a link to a post

In the app, tap the paper plane icon under the post or the “⋯” in the top right corner and choose Copy link. In a browser, just copy the page address — it starts with instagram.com/p/ or instagram.com/reel/. Pasting a link to a whole profile won’t work: you need a link to a specific post.

Where to find the downloaded file

The site delivers the file as a regular browser download, so an Instagram video ends up wherever your browser saves everything else:

Android — the Files app (or My Files) → the Download folder. The gallery usually shows the video on its own; if not, open the file from Downloads.
iPhone and iPad — the Files app → Downloads (iCloud Drive or On My iPhone). To get the video into Photos, open it and tap Share → Save Video.
Windows — the Downloads folder (C:\Users\name\Downloads); press Ctrl+J to open the list of recent downloads.
Mac — the Downloads folder in Finder; in Safari the download list is the arrow icon to the right of the address bar.

Common errors

“The content is private or available only after signing in” — the post is private, age-restricted or for subscribers only. The service downloads only what opens without signing in.
“The file is larger than 1024 MB” — the site has a 1 GB per-file limit. Choose a lower quality or send the link to the @MeridianDownBot bot: it delivers files up to 2 GB.
“Too many requests” — up to 15 files per hour can be downloaded from one address. Wait for the time shown in the message or continue in the Telegram bot.
“The source has temporarily restricted access” or “The source is not responding” — a restriction on the platform’s side. Retrying in a few minutes usually helps.
“There is no video at this link” — the post contains only photos; use the “Download JPG” button in the card.
If the error keeps happening on a working link, report it — include the link and the error text.

Can I download from a private account?

No. The service downloads only public posts available without signing in.

Are Stories supported?

Not yet: Instagram provides Stories only after signing in.

How do I download a carousel?

Paste a link to the post — buttons for each photo and video will appear. In the Telegram bot a carousel arrives as an album.

How do I download videos from Instagram?

Tap Share → Copy link under the Instagram post, paste the link on this page and tap “Download”. Works for public accounts.

Can I download Instagram photos in full size?

Yes, the service saves the image in the size Instagram stores it.

Do I need to sign in to Instagram?

No, signing in is not needed and the service never asks for your login or password. If a site asks for your Instagram password, it isn’t Meridian.

How many files can I download on the site?
