How to download TikTok videos on a phone and computer

On Android

1. Open the post in the TikTok app and tap Share → Copy link (the arrow icon to the right of the video).
2. Go to meridianload.ru in Chrome, Samsung Internet or any other browser.
3. Paste the link into the field — a card with the options appears automatically.
4. Tap the quality you need and confirm the download if the browser asks.

On iPhone and iPad

1. Copy the link to the post via Share → Copy link.

Without watermark: what it means

When you save a video with the button inside the app, TikTok adds a bouncing logo and the author’s username. The service gets the original file of the post, so the video is saved clean, in the resolution TikTok stores it — most often 720p or 1080p vertical.

Photo posts and slideshows

Where to find the downloaded video

The site delivers the file as a regular browser download, so a TikTok video ends up wherever your browser saves everything else:

• Android — the Files app (or My Files) → the Download folder. The gallery usually shows the video on its own; if not, open the file from Downloads.
• iPhone and iPad — the Files app → Downloads (iCloud Drive or On My iPhone). To get the video into Photos, open it and tap Share → Save Video.
• Windows — the Downloads folder (C:\Users\name\Downloads); press Ctrl+J to open the list of recent downloads.

Common errors

• “The content is private or available only after signing in” — the post is private, age-restricted or for subscribers only. The service downloads only what opens without signing in.
• “The file is larger than 1024 MB” — the site has a 1 GB per-file limit. Choose a lower quality or send the link to the @MeridianDownBot bot: it delivers files up to 2 GB.
• “Too many requests” — up to 15 files per hour can be downloaded from one address. Wait for the time shown in the message or continue in the Telegram bot.
• “The source has temporarily restricted access” or “The source is not responding” — a restriction on the platform’s side. Retrying in a few minutes usually helps.
• The post is hidden or under review — TikTok doesn’t serve such videos to anyone, even if the link opens for the author.
• If the error keeps happening on a working link, report it — include the link and the error text.
