MOV is the video format of the iPhone and many cameras. After conversion to MP4, the clip will play on Android, Windows, in messengers and on social networks.
How to convert MOV to MP4
- Click “Select files” or drag a MOV video into the box.
- Make sure MP4 is selected on the right.
- Click “Convert” — the MP4 will be saved to the Downloads folder.
Will the quality drop?
If the MOV video is H.264, it is repackaged into MP4 without re-encoding and with no quality loss. HEVC (H.265) video is re-encoded to H.264 at the original resolution and frame rate.
Why won't an iPhone video open on my computer?
By default the iPhone records in HEVC, which not all programs and browsers support. After conversion to MP4 with H.264, the video plays everywhere.

Limits
- You can select several files at once, each up to 1 GB. Files are converted one after another.
- Video length is not limited — only the file size matters, up to 1 GB. H.264 video is repacked into MP4, MOV, M4V and FLV in seconds.
- A GIF is made from the whole video: 8 frames per second, 360 pixels wide. WAV, FLAC and AIFF — up to 1 hour of audio (about 10 MB per minute).
File safety
The uploaded file is used only for the conversion and is never shared with anyone. The original file is deleted right after processing. The converted file is kept for 24 hours — during that time you can download it again — and is then deleted automatically.
