How to convert MP4 to MP3

Make sure MP3 is selected on the right and choose the quality.
Click “Convert” — the MP3 will be saved to the Downloads folder.

MP3 quality

320 kbps — studio quality.
256 kbps — high quality.
192 kbps — standard quality, selected by default.
128 kbps — compressed quality, the smallest file.

Will the sound be better at 320 kbps?

No, conversion cannot add quality that isn't in the video. If the clip's sound was recorded at 128 kbps, choosing 320 kbps only makes the file bigger.

Can I save the sound as M4A or WAV?

Yes. The format list next to the file includes M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, OPUS and more.

Does the converter work on a phone?

Yes, on Android and iPhone in any modern browser. The finished file goes to the Downloads folder.

Limits

You can select several files at once, each up to 1 GB. Files are converted one after another.
Video length is not limited — only the file size matters, up to 1 GB. H.264 video is repacked into MP4, MOV, M4V and FLV in seconds.
A GIF is made from the whole video: 8 frames per second, 360 pixels wide. WAV, FLAC and AIFF — up to 1 hour of audio (about 10 MB per minute).

File safety

The uploaded file is used only for the conversion and is never shared with anyone. The original file is deleted right after processing. The converted file is kept for 24 hours — during that time you can download it again — and is then deleted automatically.
