Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Xiaohongshu account?

No. A link to a public video note is enough.

Can I download photos from a note?

Not yet: the site saves video and sound. Photo-only notes are not supported.

Why doesn’t the link open?

Copy the link again via “Share”: old links stop working after a while, and private notes cannot be downloaded.

How many files can I download on the site?

Free, without sign-up: files up to 1 GB, up to 60 files per hour from one address. More in the Telegram bot @MeridianDownBot; no limits and no ads with Meridian VIP.

What content can I save?

Only content you have the right to use: your own materials, freely licensed content, or materials the copyright holder allows to be downloaded.
